Papagaio opened in 1996 and from the day of its opening until now has set itself the goal of providing lovers of good meat a culinary experience second to none and one that will be remembered and bring them back time after time.
As part of Papagaio's style and philosophy, we have developed a number of distinctive ways of serving our dishes. The most well-known is what we call the "Brazilian Table" – selected cuts of prime meat grilled in the unique Brazilian style. The meat is served on huge skewers according to the grand tradition of "Espado Kohido".
Yet another serving style at Papagio is "conjunto" or "together" in Portuguese. This a meal is for a group of people eating together and includes a choice of meats of varying weights and steak doneness, served on a hot metal plate.
Needless to say, we also offer a range of individual dishes prepared from the very best and the most succulent cuts of meat.
