Fucaccia Bar

The Focaccia Bar restaurant, founded in 1996, is a well-known establishment in Jerusalem.

The restaurant is located in a detached Arab house with a Jerusalem stone yard. The yard is open in the summertime and closed and heated during the winter. The building’s interior architecture, with its Jerusalem arches and stones, houses their extensive bar. The kitchen offers a rich and varied cuisine including meat, pasta, seafood, salads, focaccia breads, and deserts. The focaccia bread is prepared in a clay oven, in full view of the diners.

Focaccia Bar has two branches — one in the heart of the city, the other is a kosher restaurant situated in EmekHarefa’im (Ghost Valley).

Recommended dishes: seafood noodles — coconut milk, curry, ginger, coriander, spring onion, seafood — NIS 63. Chicken Liver in Balsamic Vinegar — chicken liver with apple, nuts, shallot onions, date honey and balsamic vinegar — NIS 56.
