Located in Neve Tzedek, the Rokeach House was built in 1887 by Shimon Rokeach, founder of the first Hebrew neighborhood out of which the city of Tel Aviv eventually grew. The authentic, 19th century building, known for its unique architecture, is the only structure in the area to have been restored exactly as it originally was, taking its visitors back in time to the earliest days of Neve Tzedek. Works by the artist Leah Magro-Mintz, granddaughter of Shimon Rokeach and restorer of the building, are also on display at Rokeach House.
